Description:MacDougall is quite good, by the way — a climactic scene more frightening than all the ones before brings the boy some closure, or at least some understanding of how to cope with a world that can be harsh. What parts upset you, and why? Wise, clever and a thing of beauty from beginning to end, this is a treat for movie-goers and a highly recommended watch. Tom Holland , who worked with Bayona on The Impossible , served as the stand-in for the Monster during one week of production.
